The construction process of a curved wall

The construction process of curved walls varies from fixed-radius manufactured walers, fixed-radius job-built walers, adjustable walers, or modular form panels.
FIXED-RADIUS MANUFACTURED WALERS
The purpose of fixed-radius walers to produce a true curve, but they can't not be changed. For each required radius, a different waler should be used. By applying fixed-radius walers, it is not necessary to build up a curved jig or template to arrange the form to the required radius. As a substitute, the pre-curved walers fix the curve of the form. Since, the walers are created to a perfect curve devoid of a series of chords, the final form and the finished wall become accurate curves.
FIXED-RADIUS JOB-BUILT WALERS
On the job, it is possible to create curved walers by cutting boards to the preferred radius. Alternatively, straight aluminum beams and nail boards cut can be applied to exact radius to the nailer strips within the beams.
MODIFIABLE RADIUS WALERS
The modifiable radius walers facilitates to apply the equivalent forms for walls with various radii. However, each type of modifiable waler contains its own range of adaptation, normally from a specific minimum radius up to a straight wall.
MODULAR FORM PANELS
Various form manufacturers produce modular form panels for building up the straight walls. Set on chords of a circle, these rectangular form panels can be utilized to develop curved walls. The panels are supported with Braces or curved walers provide good support to the panels. If required, the narrow fillers are added to finish the circle.
