How to transform the land area from bigha to square feet & vice versa
This is a very useful construction video tutorial for civil engineers and land surveyors. The video focuses on how many square exist in a bigha, the method to transform bigha to square feet and transform square feet to bigha.
Suppose, there are two types of land area like 100 bigha and 90 lakh square feet.
Now, initially, it is required to transform 100 bigha to square feet.
The process is as follow :-
Now, 1 bigha = 22500 square feet
It varies according to state by state. Here, the above is applicable for M.P.
Bigha is large measuring unit and Sq.ft is a small measuring unit.
So, converting from bigha to square feet i.e. large unit to small unit, it is necessary to multiply the total area with 22500.
Whereas, converting from square feet to bigha i.e. small unit to large unit, it is required to divide the total area with 22500.
Example One : Suppose, the total land area is 100 bigha and in order to transform it to square feet, just multiply with 22500.
So, 100 x 22500 = 22,50,000 square feet.
Example Two : Suppose, the total land area = 90 lakhs square meter and in order to transform it to bigha, just divide the total land area with 22500.
So, 90,000,00 / 22500 = 400 bigha
