So, the volume of one brick = Length x Breadth x Height = 0.75 ft x 0.375 ft x 0.25 ft = 0.0703 cft
1 inch = 1/12 ft = 0.083333 ft
Suppose, the thickness of the mortar = 0.08 inches
After adding thickness to length, breadth and height, we get the following result :-
Length = 9.08 inches; Width = 4.58 inches; Height = 3.08 inches
So, volume of brick with mortar = 9.08 x 4.58 x 3.08 = 0.756 ft x 0.381 ft x 0.256 = 0.074 cft
